The St. Joseph’s Prayer Center with the Association of Christian Therapists present
Emotionally Healthy Spirituality for Men
Slow and Quiet your Life down for a First-hand Relationship with God https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=39rWOgf8JB
An eight-session video & discussion series with
Pete Scazzero, D.Min., facilitated by Dr. Jim DeMar
(7:30 – 9:30 PM)
In Emotionally Healthy Spirituality Pete outlines his journey and offers a powerfully transformative road map for discipleship with God. Topics include how to identify emotionally unhealthy spirituality, how to grow your soul through grief and loss, and how to develop into an emotionally mature adult. This series will include presentations, sharing, prayer and personal time for reading & reflection each week.
Pete emphasizes that unless you slow and quiet your life down for a first-hand relationship with God, little change is possible. The goal of this group is to learn to combine emotional health and contemplative spirituality and to unleash the Holy Spirit inside us so that we might experientially know the power of an authentic life in God.
